Please come out...

Jackson loves his sister and always wants to be by her. Today when Annika got sent to her room for being naughty Jackson climbed the stairs and sat by her door until she got to come out.

Future architect

Annika loves to build things.

She was very proud of her castle and had to have her picture taken with it.

Annika's 4th Birthday!

On March 22 Annika turned 4 years old! I really cannot believe how fast she is growing up. She has always been very independant, but the last few days anytime that I try to help her she will say to me in an exasperated voice "Mom, I am 4 years old! I can do it myself!"

Annika got her wish and had a Minnie Mouse birthday party.

Bids for Kids

On Saturday night the BIDS for KIDS fundraising event was able to raise more than $7,500 for the M-CM network, FIRST foundation, and the Make-a-Wish foundation. That means that each of these charities will receive $2,500. Eric and I felt so blessed with all of the support that we received for the event and thank everyone who attended the event or donated to the cause. We are truely amazed and deeply honored by the outpouring of love that we felt. A special thank you to the MOMS club of Stevensville/South St. Joseph who sponsored this event and everyone who put in countless hours to make it a success. I feel so proud to be part of such an amazing group!

Just this past Thursday the M-CM network officially lauched its website and it is now officially a not-for-profit organization that can help families with M-CM. Therefore, it was even more exciting that this event was one of the first large donations given to the M-CM network. You can visit the site at M-CM.net

Finally this weekend made me realize that people really do care at lot for our precious Jackson. So often we can feel alone while traveling this journey with M-CM. But once again I was reminded that we are loved and people who do not even know us really do care and want to help. So once again thank you, thank you, thank you!
