Here at the DeJong household we have been sick a lot lately- especially Jackson. First he got the stomach flu (along with Annika and me). Then Jackson got another bug where he had diarrhea for 5 days and he just felt lousy and now he has croup bronchitis.
Even though Jackson has not been feeling all that great he still gives us smiles and he loves to lay on his pillow pet. 
Jackson is getting into mischief and loves to take my cans out of the cupboard. Every afternoon I have to pick up everything off the kitchen floor. However, I love it that he is now able to make a mess.
Jackson has finally started to feed himself and he LOVES food!
We are so excited that we are finally moving beyond baby food!. He now loves to eat bread and just this past weekend we let him eat a piece of pizza cut up very small!
Jackson always puts his feet on the table. Whenever I shove his chair in all the way he just pushes himself back and up go his feet.(:I guess I will teach him table manners later. Right now we are just so excited with the progress that Jackson is making.
Oh my!! How incredible that Jackson is starting to eat more foods...that is awesome. Bummer that sickness is lingering in your house, but thankful for Jackson's improvements and progress every day!!

ReplyDeleteCute pics! I love the one of him with the yogart drink... his eyes look so big. Just great that he is getting into more food! I sent some clothes home for him with mom and dad.
